deformed puppy

Hi there, im new to this site

Just wondering if any body has heard of deformed anal in puppies?
As I have a little off puppies which are just over 2 weeks and one off the pups have
Deformed anal.(Which means she can not go to the toilet via her bum)

The little pup (girl) has been checked out by my vet and been told she has a deformed anal and she is very healthy over wise; he also said it is know mainly in foals
But I have never heard off anything like this before so any bit of information on this subject would be off great help



I own both mum and dad to the above little and have bred once from them before
And all puppies were healthy with no problems

Does this mean she is not defecating? How is she getting rid of her stools? What does the doctor say about this?
I know a bit about urine blockage (baby and cat). I also know a bit about intestinal blockage, and to my mind this would be considere the same thing? At least the 'end' results are the same?
What does the doc say?

the puppy poos out off her private parts, and will be having opp around 8 weeks to have it repaired
the vet says that she has very good chances off having a next to normal life ..

the puppy has now been named holly

Is it a fistula? I hope you will report how she does with the surgery.
