She is just beautiful. It looks like she's going to be longhaired or at least medium.
That is really cool about the rescue groups and the offer of assistance. It sounds like she is getting all the vetting and TLC she could possibly want!
I was hesitating to mention something because I've never had a manx cat and am not a vet or anything close. Anything I say would be secondhand. They say that cats are sensitive to zinc if they ingest too much of it. I do not know how much is too much in a kitten. I only mention it because Neosporin contains zinc, which I did not know until someone here
pointed it out to me. It contains bacitracin, which is actually "bacitracin zinc". I don't see how there could be any issue as long as she is not licking it. I use it on my diaper dog and dogs are also sensitive to zinc, but she does not lick it, it is under her diaper. Most of it soaks into the diaper, and when the diaper is removed her bedding would also absorb any from her fur because she bounces around on her bottom. Supposedly cats are more sensitive to zinc than dogs (again I heard that secondhand). Anyway, maybe you will not need to use it long term, or maybe the specialist will have something else to suggest. I imagine getting her little bottom cleared up with healthy skin is probably the main thing right now.
Her name is perfect for her!
