Meet Susan
Susan’s journey has been one of heartbreak and survival. After spending over 100 days in a shelter, she gave birth to a litter of puppies, all while enduring unimaginable pain. Sadly, due to severe injuries, Susan had to have both of her right legs amputated. Despite all she’s been through, Susan’s spirit remains unbroken.

Now, this sweet, 5-year-old Chow mix is ready to find a family who can give her the love and care she deserves. Susan is good with dogs, cats, and kids, making her a great companion for any family. However, her mobility needs are unique, and she requires a family who understands the challenges of having a dog with limited movement. She may need some extra help getting around, but with patience and love, she’s ready to show just how much joy and affection she can bring.

Susan may not be able to run and play the way other dogs do, but her heart is full, and her love is boundless. She needs someone who is prepared to handle her special needs and give her the life she deserves—one filled with warmth, comfort, and the care she has always longed for. Will you be the family to give Susan a second chance at happiness?
