I couldn't figure out how this would work, because of the tail, but in her video she says she has a 23-lb cockapoo. It would work on a dog with no tail. She explains he walks in it and tracks it if there isn't a pocket to catch it. :smart:

Seems like a good idea for girls, but I’m mystified why she doesn’t use a wrap for pee.

Good idea. I guess she'd still want a diaper to catch the solids so he doesn't walk in it, but then a male wrap for urine.
:malewrap:
Another idea is using human diapers and cutting the tail hole yourself. I admire her for having the patience to make the ingenious "pocket".

I cut the hole just big enough for Buddy’s tail.

I think I like the reusable diaper idea better. Remember Dolcezza’s (spelling?) diapers with the poop lock, as I recall?

That's right. Dolcezza's "pouch panties" that were custom made for her.

I posted on Craig's list for someone who sews and she is going to look at the panties and see if she can make them with a bit more material in the "poop" area so the poop doesn't smash against the inside. If she gets this right I'll post a picture and she is willing to do this for others as well. So, stay tuned, I'm still tweaking the recipe! HA!

Judy and Dolcezza!
Here is a post with a picture of the garment, and at the end of the thread, the person who sewed them posted!

Thus is a great idea but I’m not sure where the dog’s tail is placed.

:welcome: Through a hole. I used to cut a hole in Buddy’s diapers just bug enough for his tail; some come with holes and/or drawstrings and the like.

I wondered the same thing when I first watched it. :? She has another video about nonslip dog socks in which she says her dog is a "23 lb cockapoo", so it's possible her dog has a docked tail so she doesn't have to make a tail hole. Otherwise you'd think she'd demonstrate making a tail hole. Nice video.
