Re: Here we go again...
Summer report... WE HAVE POO! She went this morning.
She is starting to feel better. She wants up on the couch badly. I keep telling her no, not for a while.

Hip Hop Horray for POO!!!
Now about the sofa: we had the SAME problem with
Snowy.... soooo... we brought the soft down to HER level. ALL the cushions came off the sofa. We 'flipped the sofa' so it was just a 'wedge and then placed the pillows on the FLOOR. she got the same sensation of the soft pillows AND she could sit right by me. It made BOTH of us feel better!!
Hope that helps!! Post some pictures please!!

yep we all get excited about pee and poo poo on here. lol lol.
so glad summer went at last, knew she would. as far as wanting on couch, i went through same thing. as long as i was on sofa, i put cricket there beside me, but only as long as i was holding on to him. even now he has to be put on there and bed. if mom is somewhere, then cricket has to be there. lol.
great news, summer sounds wonderful.
hugs, connie and cricket

Re: Here we go again...
Update:
Yesterday, Summer went in for her 2 week (actually 11 days) and had the staples removed. My wife reports that she had a very happily surprized neurologist and surgeon. They said her progress is outstanding for a beagle that has had two knees rebuilt and major back surgery. They knew she would do well, just not THIS well!
Sadly, Summer still has 4 more weeks of confinement and very restricted movement.
