Meet Flipper, a three-month-old golden retriever mix with a heart full of love and resilience???
Rescued from beneath a house alongside her devoted mother and siblings, Flipper’s early days were marked by uncertainty. Her family’s journey into our care wasn’t easy; due to their nervousness and challenging environment, humane trapping was necessary to bring them to safety.
Upon their arrival, we discovered that three of the five puppies, including Flipper, were facing medical challenges, notably swimmer’s syndrome and other conditions uncommon in typical puppies. Since then, Flipper has been a brave little warrior, attending almost weekly veterinary check-ups and receiving extensive care to support her development.
While Flipper may not be exactly like her other siblings, her spirit is nothing short of extraordinary. She might experience some difficulty with walking and getting up, but she navigates her world with determination and joy, often without any assistance. Her unique needs make her a special-needs puppy, and she’s seeking a forever home that embraces her just as she is.
Flipper’s journey is a testament to the incredible resilience and love that rescue dogs bring into our lives. As one quote beautifully puts it, “Rescue dogs are living proof that sometimes, all we need is someone to give us a chance, to believe in our potential, and to love us unconditionally.”
